WELCOME TO BALI!!!!!

It took almost 8 hours to get to Bali. My friend Pi and I took Kualalumpur, Malaysia enroute to Bali. There are no direct flights from Manila going there. We arrived around 8pm...we saved our appetites to try Balinese food upon arrival..that was the plan as to not waste our first evening there ;P hehehe

We were booked at the Oasis Hotel, located in Kuta. It was amidst the city side of Bali....when the taxi stopped at the street where the signage was....I gasped and almost let out a cry!!!! "Baket ganito????" I asked Pi.....It looked like a hole in the wall INN!!!!! Yikes....We had to walk through a small and short alley.....scarry...but...wait...wait....this was what's instore......

I let out a huge "WHEW" and the "WOW!!" ....Oasis was indeed an oasis!!!! It is soooo much like Discovery shores in Boracay!!!! =) The staff were very friendly...accommodating...helpful and polite! It was great! our room was very nice too....simple modern interiors with complete ammenities.

Our accommodation came with a breakfast buffet. An array of breads, cheese, fruits, rice, noodles, sausages, balinese coffee, tea and fruit juices. Food was ok =)

I would definetly recomend this hotel, especially if you're purpose in coming to Bali is to shop! It's just a stone's throw away from the Kuta Square, where various shops abound. It's great to shop for swim wear and surfring gear here. There are huge Roxy, Quicksilver, Billabong, Surfer Girl, Ripcurl, Crocs, Havaianas and so on shops that seems to be on SALE all the time!!! =) I love it here!!!!
